WE'RE RAISING THE ROOF!
Paula & lionel are pleased to announce the start of the first phase of their
exciting building project. We are building on the rear flat roof, and incorporating
the rear private lounge into the customer area.
A new private function/dining room coming soon!
 The George and Dragon has been run by Lionel and Paula Shore since 1985. A true free house, we offer a good range of real ales and quality home cooked food, served in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
We also provide Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a converted 16th Century barn, which offers 4 double rooms with en-suite. We now have 6 additional luxury double or twin rooms with wet rooms and one with wheel chair access and bathroom. All rooms have fast Internet access and flat screen colour T.V. along with coffee and tea making facilities.
Located in Wolverton, midway between Basingstoke, Newbury and Reading, The George and Dragon is an ideal stopover for business and leisure use.
